What to Expect on the Day
Upon arrival, patients are welcomed by our friendly receptionist and guided through a thorough consultation. This is an opportunity to ask questions, understand the procedure in full, and ensure you are comfortable and confident in your decision. We may offer an oral sedation medication to help you relax prior to the procedure at no extra cost. Patients can not drive home if they had oral sedation. If the procedure was performed without oral sedation, patients may choose to drive home. However, we highly recommend that you have someone to drive you home after the procedure. The vasectomy procedure may take approximately 15 - 20 minutes and is performed under local anaesthesia.
Aftercare and Support
Before leaving, you’ll receive comprehensive aftercare instructions along with a sample kit and guidance on when and how to complete the required semen analysis to confirm the success of the procedure. Our team remains available for any follow-up queries or concerns.

Patient information
- Your consultation you will be with Dr. Raj and you will be given full information about pre and post procedures and you will have plenty of time to ask any additional questions you may have.
- The procedure is done under a local anaesthetic. In addition, you will also be offered a pre-operative medication to relax and to reduce any anxiety that you may experience. You should not drive after taking oral sedation and you should have someone to take you home.
